This magical mountain, Adi Kailash, is standing tall at an elevation of 6191 m in the Dharchula district. It is quite known for its strong religious and adventure connect, also, it is believed that the mountain has a miraculous nature. One thing, which makes this mountain look apart from other Himalayan ranges is its OM shape, which is formed by the by deposition of snow on the black mountain.

Day 01: Kathgodam – Pithoragarh

Early Morning Pickup
En-route visit (Kainchi Dham, Chetai Golu Devta Temple, Jageshwar Dham)
Check in to the pre-booked hotel

Day 02: Pithoragarh – Dharchula

Morning Breakfast
Journey to Dharchula for (Medical check-ups and permit procedures)
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
Overnight Stay in Hotel at Dharchula.

Dharchula: – “Dhar” means “Ridge” and “Chulha” means “A stove”. The unique geography of this place is the reason behind why we call this valley “Dharchula”, so if you see it from bird’s eye view, the town exactly looks like a Stove covered by high ridges on all four sides, divided by gushing “kali river” leaving Nepal on other side. Other than just Visting Nepal, one could feel dharchula in several other ways like a must visit to “RUNG” museum or tasting delicacies of dumplings. Day 03: Dharchula – Nabi/Gunji village

After Breakfast Head to Nabi/Gunji village.
En-route visit (Malpa (desolated), Budhi, chialekh ,Garbyang ,Gunji and Napalchu on the way to Nabi).

Day 04: Nabi/Gunji – Adi Kailash – Nabi/Gunji

Early morning trek to Adi Kailash and Parvati Kund.
Aarti at Lord Shiva & Parvati Temple at Parvati Sarovar.
Peaks visible: (Darshan of Adi Kailash, Brahma Parvat, Pandava Parvat, Pandava Fort, Parvati Mukut)
Return to Nabi/Gunji for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Nabi/Gunji – Om Parvat Darshan – Dharchula

The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:

✔ Cancellation before 30 days will be charged processing fee equivalent to Rs. 25% of Total Package cost Which Ever is higher. No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations.

✔ Cancellations between 15 days to 30 days before start date, 75% of tour cost would be charged as cancellation fees.

✔ Cancellations between 0 days to 15 days before start date, 100% of tour cost would be charged as cancellation fees.

What will be the expected temperature and weather in Adi kailash and Om Parvat?

Day temperature will hover around 08 to 18 degree Celsius, while night temperature can go down to -05 and at some places more.

Is Kailash Mansarovar and Adi Kailash same or different destination?

Adi Kailash and Kailash Mansarovar is different destination but both are Panch Kailash. Adi Kailash is in Indian Himalayas and Kailash Mansarovar is in Tiebet. Both are holy mountains.

Roads remains open in winter?

Due to the heavy snow fall inner line permit process is closed by administration in winter.

What is Om Parvat actually?

It’s a natural shape of Om on snow-capped mountain. According to Hindu scripts, it’s a sign of high energy and creation.

Is its off-road drive or smooth one)

From Kathgodam to Dharchula, it’s well connected road but from Dharchula to Adi Kailash and Om Parvat totally off-road. We used 4/4 transport for particular strech.

What is AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness)?

AMS is result of sudden exposure to reduced air pressure and lower oxygen level at high altitude. General symptoms are Headache, Fatigue, Nausea, and Loss of appetite, sleeplessness, heavy breathing. Descending down and inhaling oxygen can cure it faster. That is why we recommend to spend at least two days in Leh, so that you get some time to acclimatize.

What are the precautions for photography gears?

You don’t need to worry much about the professional gears much; they are built to sustain such extreme weathers. For basic gears, just keep that battery at warm places.

I had no time to prepare, can I buy warm clothes in Dharchula/Pithoragarh?

No, we suggest you buy it at home location and try it out couple of times.

Is there some trekking involved in this?

Not too much but while visit Gauri Kund and Parvati sarovar then we have to do 6km trek .

I have medical history related to breathing, blood pressure or anything significant, Can I travel at such height and low temperature?
